"On arrival we went to the reception and we were welcomed by friendly and professional people who very swiftly checked us in, we were then escorted to our caravan where we were shown how to operate the different gadgets in the caravan, again this was done in a very friendly manner and put Us in holiday mode straight away. Being a hotel general manager it was exactly the sort of welcome I would expect guests of mine to experience when they arrive. the caravan was very clean and brand new, there was tea and coffee available on arrival, and of course the packet of complimentary fudge, mmmmmm. Unfortunately we couldn't of picked a worse week weather wise - it rained, snowed, hailstoned, and the wind blew gales!!! However the indoor pool and sauna provided ample cover and kept us occupied, all the amenities were available, and everywhere around the park was spotless and very well maintained. The management and staff were on hand to answer any queries and nothing was too much trouble - well done and thank you for making our week away so enjoyable.
I was impressed with the location and everything, and will return in the summer for another enjoyable stay!"

"An amazing park, and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere from all the staff. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and well kitted out (Super Finch). The shop was really handy on site and the freshly made bread to order is a must!! The swimming pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus for such an intimate park. Dog walking area is great too, but dogs have to remain on leads at all times. Only 10 minutes from the main town and 15 minutes from Dartmoor. Tamar Valley walks are only 5/10 minutes away - not for those that don't like walking up and down hills!! Tavistock market was also a great place with a lovely atmosphere to visit along with a lovely walk along the side of the canel. Oggy Oggy is a great place to grab a bite to eat (pies and pasties were fab), and cupcakes and treats went down very well as gifts!! Always a lovely place to come back to - beds were comfy and it felt like home for the time we stayed! The present of fudge, tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets on arrival was a wonderful touch after a long journey, even if the fudge didn't last very long!! We will definitely be returning soon!"

Hartland Lodge 59 in Bideford. Woolsery is an attractive village, set within the unspoiled rolling North Devon countryside. The village is bordered by wonderful coastlines and country walks, and its history can be traced back to before the Domesday Book. The heart of the village was built around its Norman Church and there are many small festivals and fairs throughout the year, including the ‘Woolsery Show’, which has been established since the 1800’s. Woolsery is also famous for its cheese. A trip to the local dairy will show you cheeses handmade using traditional methods using fresh goat’s and cow’s milk to produce a range of cheeses, from soft through to hard. Woolsery village is within easy reach of the sandy beaches of Westward Ho and the fishing village of Instow and Appledore. Nearby, you can also visit Clovelly with its steep cobbled streets and Hartland & Stoke with their Abbey and church, whilst surf-enthusiasts will appreciate the well-known surfing centre of Bude.. The Log Cabin in Honiton. The Hills are a nationally important landscape and were designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in recognition of the special qualities of its natural and built environment. Being relatively unspoilt, the Hills offer a rare sense of timelessness. A network of hedges, mature hedgerow trees and small copses link a rich mosaic of semi-natural habitats. The area is perfect for walks, cycling and horse riding where the quiet bridleways and byways offer many opportunities to explore and enjoy the locally distinctive buildings, archaeological remains and natural flora and fauna. Sheldon is centrally located to explore attractions further away, such as the City of Exeter with its ancient Cathedral, High Street shopping and arts centres. Historic Honiton is also nearby, giving you a chance to find out more about the honey exports that gave the town its name and, a few miles south, you’ll find the unspoilt beaches of Exmouth and the rest of the Jurassic Coast..
