No 26 Tattershall Country Park in Horncastle, Lincolnshire. Nestling between the Fens and the Wolds in the heart of Lincolnshire, is Tattershall Lakes Country Park. Tattershall Park consists of 325 acres offering woodlands, lakes and open spaces along with sporting opportunities. There is a 60 acre water skiing and wakeboarding lake, a 45 acre jet skiing lake, a 9 hole golf course, four lakes covering all aspects of coarse fishing, two bars, one with lake views, a restaurant, children's play area and on site supermarket. Lincoln is within easy travelling distance, with its cathedral, castle and shopping or spend a day exploring the coast, visiting nature reserves at Donna Nook and Gibraltar Point.

Originally a fortified Anglo-Saxon settlement, the nearby town of Ellesmere is steeped in history and is home to the lovely Church of Saint Mary, with its 15th Century roof. There are a wide variety of shops, good pubs and restaurants in the settlement, as well as an abundance of entertainment on and around the nine lakes which surround the town. Guests can stroll through Cremorne Gardens, enjoy fishing and sailing, or explore Colemere Country Park with its wonderful wildlife and scenic walks.

Thornlea Log Cabin
Thornlea Log Cabin in Whitby, North Yorkshire. Set in the beautiful and peaceful Esk Valley and lying in the heart of The North York Moors is the lovely little village of Danby. Danby also hosts the ruins of a 14th Century castle as well as the only remaining working water mill on the River Esk. Train enthusiasts will also enjoy the scenic Esk Valley Railway line, which runs through the village on its way to the seaside resort of Whitby. The area is full of excellent towns to visit including York, Hutton-le-hole and Lastingham, as well as the villages of Staithes, Saltburn and Robin Hood's Bay.

Lodge 48 in Bideford, Devon. Woolsery is a small village in North Devon, which offers a shop and pub. Hartland Forest is nearby and includes hundreds of acres of woodland. Five miles away is the village of Clovelly, with its pretty cottages, cobbled footpath, and 14th Century harbour. The seashore from Bideford to Bude is part of the National Trust's Heritage Coastline and offers walks and stunning cliffs at Hartland Quay. Bude and the Tamar Lakes offer watersports, which means there is something for everyone.
